Every year myself, Jacob, Jesse, and our cousin Sydney have a joint birthday party at the lake house. The past two years our family friend John has joined in too. This Saturday was his actual birthday! That was this past weekend and it was a lot of fun! My grandmothers stayed all weekend at our house.
They came on Friday and we cooked out hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, and watched the Olympics opening ceremony, which was awesome!!!! Then the next day was the birthday party. 5 of my mom's 6 brothers and sisters were there! That day we hung out on the lake all day! Jacob had his wisdom teeth taken out this week,
so he napped most of the day at the house, and Chris joined him.
lol Most of the day we hung out by these cliffs that people were jumping off, including my dad, but I didn't! Both of my grandmothers were on one of the boats together and decided they wanted to ride the jet ski back to the house! Everyone was like, well, if they want to do it, and they asked to do it, let them do it!
It was pretty funny! I'm sure they'll be telling all their friends about it this week! We were so afraid one of them might fall off! We didn't know how they would get back on! But, they made it back safely. That night we cooked out stakes and we all opened our presents. Then we all had cake and ice cream! It was a great weekend!
