Chris came home for the weekend! He got here a little later than expected, because his car broke down on the way to a photo shoot and he ended up having to have it towed back to school where he could fix it. He ended up getting towed for free and the expensive parts that were broken were under warranty, so he saved hundreds of dollars, but his car is dented pretty bad all around the wheel where it broke. But praise the Lord it didn't cost him that much and he was able to fix it! But he was pretty worn out after that, because it took about the whole day! Saturday morning we went to his niece's soccer game! After that I gave Chris a much-needed haircut. We made some caramel apples! They were
delish! Then we went to
Grandaddy's Farm to get a pumpkin! We were going to go on the hay ride to pick our pumpkin out of the field, but we found an orange and white one just in their market, so we went with that! It was pretty cool!!! Chris picked out a skull to carve, and we went at it! It was a lot of fun. The pumpkin seeds were not that great, since it was a different kind of pumpkin, and I normally love to eat pumpkin seeds! Today we hung out with his family until the kids went down for a nap, and we've just been watching football all day! Tomorrow we're going to go watch Fireproof! I'm so excited!
