I had my first bridal shower in Columbia this weekend with family from both my dad and mom's sides. It was a great day! My Aunt Kim hosted it at her house! There were 30 someodd women there! We hung out, had some good finger foods, and opened presents! They were all so good to us! My parents are giving us a grill! The present at the shower was a grill cover and all kinds of grilling accessories! My Gramm
a was too excited to wait for us to know what our present was, so she gave me a picture of a black rod iron patio set! That's what her present to us is! She also gave us a Brita water filter at the shower. She is from New York and she said up North they give small wedding shower presents and then your "real" present at
the wedding, but she couldn't wait! So we'll be set for some good barbecues this summer! My Memaw gave us 2 sets of dishes! Jacob's fiance Sara made me a scrapbook with pictures of me and Chris in it and it said things like "how to fight fair" and "what love means to me" and everyone filled it out. It will be a great keepsake! I have such a great family and had such a wonderful weekend with them!
