WHAT A WEEKEND

Friday Chris and I went to Chattanooga to pick up our new member of our family, Bailey. She's a miniature dachshund, and I'm pretty sure Chris is head over heels for her! lol We went to eat with his friends, did some shopping at Pet Smart, and headed home.

Saturday morning my mom and I were headed to the Bell Buckle craft fair when we got a text from Jacob saying that Sara was in the ER and couldn't communicate. The next text was that he really thought we should come up there. She had woken up that morning with a numb tongue and hands, leading to her being unable to saying anything other than the word "something". She couldn't remember Jacob's name or how to form sentences. She later said (after she was better) that she wanted to ask Jacob to pray for her but she couldn't remember how to ask that. They did at CAT scan, and it was good (meaning no brain tumor, etc.), and they tried to get a spinal tap but she has scoliosis so they were unable to get any fluid. After prayers going up ALL over, she started to get better. She stayed over night, and they didn't do an MRI to see if she had a mini stroke because they said that the treatment would be the same even if it was proven, and it cost a lot (and a real tragedy is that she got denied from Jacob's work's health insurance just days before) But they gave her all these packets on recovering from a stroke, and ruled it an allergic reaction to Advil since they didn't do the MRI. But I just ask that you pray for her, for her future, that it wouldn't lead to future strokes or lead to anything, that she fully recovers, and pray that she does get accepted on Jacob's insurance. We're really glad she's better, it was a real scare!

Sunday we came home after Sara got released from the hospital and we were in charge of snacks for our Sunday night class at church, so we rushed to Wal-Mart, made sausage balls, BLT dip, and cookies, and made it just in time!

So we had a full-packed weekend. Please remember to pray for Sara's future and praise him for what he's done already! Hope everyone had a good weekend!!!
