Week In Review

Kiley is 31 weeks old!

- Thursday Chris took off, so that made it a 5-day weekend for him, and that means us too! He was going to go to work this day but his hiatal hernia meds prescription was up and he has been having trouble keeping food down, so work didn't sound like a good place to be! We Skyped with Jacob and Sara that night and Kiley was a hoot! She was screaming away..but good/happy screams, not mad screams. We watched a couple movies and hung out all day.

I did a little craft project today too. Our tray on our ottoman had chipped paint on it, so it needed some sprucing, and I figured vinyl would make it look like new!

Here's the after...Took me all of 10 minutes!

 

My new exercise regimine..throwing a 22 lb baby in the air...Not really, but she loves it :)

- Friday Chris had his doctor's appointment to get his medicine refilled, thankfully! After that we went to get the hubs some new shoes that he's been needing....Not to mention the $50 off coupon Hibbetts sent out....Yay for that! We ran some more errands, then came home to childproof our house during KG's nap time. We just had us a nice little busy day at home cleaning out closets, etc! I also cut Chris' hair that night with a new set of shears we got. I had been using the same $20 set for 7 years to cut Chris' hair, so it felt like cutting butter after using that same old thing for so long!

- Saturday Kiley and I went to the lake with Mimi, Pops, and Jesse. We hung out with a lot of my dad's cousins. Kiley swam with me for a good bit, and when we came home she took a 3 hour nap, from 4-7, then went to bed at 8:30 and slept till 8:15 the next morning..She must be growing again! The hubs went to the neighbor's machine shop to work on a car part :) It's right by the lake so we stopped by and said hi on our way home.

- Sunday, since Kiley woke up late, we were able to go to Sunday School. It had been a while because she had been waking up at 6:30 and was in a nap when it would be time to leave. So we woke up at 8 and rushed, rushed, rushed to leave around 9. That was the longest she had been in the nursery, and when I went to get her after church she and ALL her friends were screaming - lol! Bless the workers :) She had been awake for 4 hours, which is double her norm, so she came home and took a 2 hour nap, then was back on the go! We took her 7 month pictures after her nap and had dinner with Mimi and Pops that night.

- Monday we went grocery shopping and Kiley squealed at every passer-by :) That night we had our first VBS. I'm working in the baby room for VBS, so I'm with my little babe. We had 4 children that night and 4 workers. They all did good and all actually left early so we were home an hour early and Kiley went to bed early from all the playing.

She fed herself some of her bottle for the first time while I was putting the cold groceries away :)

- Tuesday we had VBS again. We had 7 kids this night! There was a lot more going on and it was a lot of fun. Kiley had two more girls close to her age there that night to play with. She loves the new variety of toys to play with that she doesn't have at home.

- Wednesday we did a little shopping at JC Penny..Great deals! Got some shirts for $5 and $8. VBS was that night again and we had the same 7 again. They all made shirts that night that says God's Love Is Amazing and we put their feet prints inside the heart. Sooo cute!
