Week In Review

Kiley is 35 weeks old!

- Thursday we headed out to do our civic duty and vote. Kiley got to vote for the first time ---- Thankfully she didn't reach down and touch the buttons..the girl's hands attract to touch screens at lightening speed! After that we headed to Sonic to get a drink, like I do practically any time my booty hits the driver's seat.  We then went to the mall so Mommy could spend her birthday money from the in-law's. That night we went to dinner with the in-laws at Applebee's for my birthday. It was super yummy. They all came over afterward to visit for a while and watch the babe crawl around, dance, and be goofy :)

"Oh, just reading a book with my bunny ears on."

- Friday we ran some errands then met Mimi for lunch. Miss Kiley LOVES to get out of the house and look at new and colorful things! That evening Mimi and Pops came over to see KG and our little family tuned into the Olympics all night.

- Saturday we went to Taylor and Lizzy's engagement party at a nice restaurant called Emil's in town. Taylor graduated with me and works with Chris. They'll also be the ones we'll be seeing Vegas with in a couple months. It was a nice engagement party. The in-laws watched our little booger while we were out.

- Sunday, after church, Kiley and I went to my friend Chelsea's baby shower. It was so nice to see lots of girls from high school! Kiley and I got her a box that we put baby Maddox's name on, and filled it will diapers and, of course, bows. Kiley had a great time and was asleep before we got off their street. It was a great day.

- Monday we did some grocery shopping, vinyl cutting, the norm. Monday started Marvelous Mondays at church, where in the month of August we have revival every Monday. We went and had dinner at church beforehand then had the revival. It was a great message about us needing to be road blocks for other people to say "STOP! DON'T GO THAT WAY!" and lead them in the right way towards Christ.

Our sleeping beauty on Monday night.

- Tuesday was pajama day for the Dornon girls. I laid down with Kiley for her first nap, but she didn't sleep long..She was probably thinking, "Why are you bothering me laying next to me??" lol! The girl likes to sleep....in her crib.by herself. I put a bow in Kiley's hair for the first time...that is in her hair without a headband. She has JUST enough hair on top. She looked pretty cute, if I do say so myself :) That night I made a Pinterest dinner...chicken breasts, green beans, and red potatoes cooked in one pan in the oven with Italian dressing mix and melted butter sprinkled on top..yum yum! That was the first time Kiley shared our dinner with us...that is the green beans and potatoes. She fed herself and had a fun time doing so. She's been basically living on peas and carrots, so beans and potatoes were a nice mix. I need to feed her the rest of the baby food, but I've been sticking to peas and/or carrots and then fruit pieces because she likes to chew. Mimi and Pops stopped by for a visit and got to see the little ham in action - She was really hamming it up for them :) ALSO, we noticed this day that Kiley has a SECOND tooth poking through on the bottom!

"Feeling my toothies."

"Feeding myself dinner like a big girl."

Pure Love
