Weekly Snapshots

Chris took these snapshots the other day.  While I was cooking he let Kiley play with his phone and Weston decided to look over her shoulder to watch - too cute - and then sister noticed and put an end to it.

We had the best Valentine's Day! We laid gifts out for the kiddos.  Chris always comes in with extra gifts for the kids (Well, Kiley in the past) and it just warms my heart.  Kiley got a walking puppy, balloon, and candy, and her daddy added in the stuffed animal, more candy, and a card just from him.

We got Weston this walker toy because Kiley so enjoyed it as a baby, so much so that she broke it.  Chris added in the stuffed animal and a matchbox car that somehow ended up in sister's pile.

I just love being a parent - Love being their mommy.  Holidays are just so much fun with kiddies.  My parents always made every holiday so special and made us kids feel so special, and I enjoy trying to do the same for my kiddos!

Kiley was just so excited that morning!

We met Chris for lunch that day at our favorite lunch spot for a nice Valentine's Day lunch with all my loves. We got a heart shaped pizza for dinner that night.  I'm pretty sure we have done that every year since we were married.  It's just so much easier to go to lunch when there aren't big crowds, and who doesn't love a heart shaped pizza?!

Chris' dad and stepmom stopped by before the haircut took place and dropped Kiley and I off some chocolate covered strawberries - They were delicious.  How sweet is that?? Kiley gobbled one up right fast!

I have been debating on cutting Kiley's hair for a while.  It was 4 inches longer in the back than it was on the sides, and that night just felt like the right night to do it! We started out on a bench, but with all the wiggles to get down, we decided to let her paint, and it was much easier.

Mimi and Pa T stopped by mid haircut to bring the kids all their Valentine's goodies...spoiled kids for sure! :)

She looks more grown, but it looks great! It's thick now and will grow out nicely.

Saturday Chris' sister came for a visit and his dad brought over some yummy ribs and barbecue for dinner.  We played a dice game and had a nice day visiting.

Sunday started the kick of the nice weather, so we got to play outside a lot at Mimi and Pa T's before dinner - Kiley could LIVE outside.

We had a wonderful week.  I hope you all did too!!
