FUN WEEKEND

We had a wonderful weekend! Friday my grandmothers, my aunt, my brother and sister-in-law came into town. We had a yummy dinner of grilled chicken w/NY barbecue sauce, and we enjoyed it on my parents' new patio that's just about all finished up! We then went to Murfreesboro for my brother's baseball game. They won, run-ruled the team! That night we all got in the hot tub and all stayed at my parents'! Chris was in Chattanooga most of the weekend for the FE exam that he's been taking classes for. It's an 8-hour test filled with engineering stuff...sounds FUN!

Saturday everyone came to see all the progress on our house, and we just had a nice day hanging out at my parents'! That night we had pork chops and pasta salad, yum! Jacob and Sara had to leave after that. It's so depressing when he leaves because he's so fun to be around, and we miss him all the time! Since he's a youth minister he can only come home for one-day weekends, and he hardly ever gets to come home, so it's bah-hum-bug when he leaves! I wish he lived closer! I never imagined at the age of 22 I'd only get to see my twin so little.....thought that would come way later in life, if ever! It just ain't right - lol!

Today we had lunch at my parents' after church, Chris did a lot of yard work, and I painted the living room/dining room. Chris is going back to working four 10 hour days tomorrow, except for two weeks they're working five 10 hour days, so after those two weeks he'll have Fridays off again! But that means he'll have to get used to waking up at 5 a.m. again! Poor thing! It's been a great weekend, and like always, way too short! Hope everyone had a great one too!
